I uploaded LibUSB for All Mac OS X Versions over at: http://www.appleturk.net/iphone/LiBUSB_MAC.zip

but libUSB that you gave in install packet is not compatible with snow leopard when we run it, it says this packed complied for 10.5 only.
i hope a new version of libUSB complied for snow leopard 10.6 comes out soon. thanks.

one "stupid" question:
i own a 3G 8GB with 3.0 fw jb . when i upgrade to 3.1 beta is the time limit still valid? what if the 30 days expire? will i have to go back to 3.0? what about the saved data?

maybe sb can give me some short info to a non experienced iphone user ;)

before Apple release a newer beta they do not put a time limit to previous beta therefore you can either upgrade to newer beta or can return back to 3.0.1
you can take backup before restore not to lose any data but it is always suggested not to restore any backup while moving from a major release to another major release.

however it is on your own risk to upgrade 3.1 beta version.

when i do a backup via itunes (better say try to do a backup) it takes somehow 10 hours to take a backup of 3 GB data. at the end it crashes. i never succeeded to get any backup of my device via itunes. thats why i am a little bit scared

argghh...maybe i will give a try...one more question: if i make a fw upgrade, i will not lose any data am i? e.g. phonebook, calendar, installed apps, ... ?

backup process was a trouble for apple and they fixed this with the new version of iTunes 8.2
if you are using 8.2 and still have problem with backing up the datas then regret to say nothing to do for this but if you are using an older version of iTunes it is strongly recommended to upgrade to 8.2

there are 2 option for upgrade :
1) update method
this method does not delete any data on your phone. just it updates ur version and loads all the data back on their places.
2) clean install (restore)
this deletes all the data saved on ur phone and installs new firmware.

in this case you must NOT use clean restore but update.

how do i unlock this fw? :) ... now only the emergency call screen appears . i hope there is a solution to that! please help ...
