iPhone OS 3.1 Beta 3 has finally been jailbroken by Vortex and iH8sn0w!

The ipsw was distributed instead of a Building tool because the ipsw was required to be assembled manually!
So far the platforms that are working are:

*iPhone 2G
*iPhone 3G
*iPod Touch 1G

*The iPod Touch 2G release is being actively worked on!*
*iPhone 3G[S] is not being researched that much!*

There is a certain way you must restore. There is a tool called "16xx iTunes Restore Error Bypasser", you download this by
clicking on your Operating System icon after you have selected your device (on Mac iPhone Ipod Türkiye Portali). When you run the Bypasser, it will set-up your
iPhone so that it can be restored through iTunes.

You'll know its ready when the Device's screen turns white and you get a success
message! Once you've gotten your white screen on your iphone, you may open iTunes and restore with the custom ipsw for your
device.

Here's detailed instructions:

1) Head to iH8sn0w
2) Select Your Device
3) Select your operating system (Mac or Win) [by clicking on your operating system logo] for the 16xx iTunes Error bypasser.
4) Download the Custom IPSW by selecting the IPSW icon (which is a direct-link), or you can select Mirrors located at the bottom.
5) Once both items are completed, Launch the 16xx iTunes Restore Error Bypasser and follow the on-screen instructions!
6) Once you have the white screen on your device, open iTunes and press SHIFT + RESTORE if on a Windows, or ALT + RESTORE if on a Mac. Then, select the Custom IPSW you downloaded!
7) You will see the Apple Logo with a progress bar. Then once your device reboots, Hello Cydia!

i've restored my 3G with this system perfectly on windows xp just wonder if a fix will be available for snow leopard for 16xx bypasser.

even Snow Leopard version of MAC ?

No not for Snow Leopard it's just supports Leopard however I think Snow Leopard version is coming :D

it's not too difficult we just have to find new Drag to Here folder ;)

no problem as snow leopard is a beta OS therefore no need a version for that at the moment as we already can do the above steps on xp.
